Grand National 2022 hat trend so many Aintree racegoers are loving this year

The Grand National 2022 is well and truly underway with racegoers celebrating being allowed to visit the Aintree festival for the first time since 2019.

Each year, ladies spend weeks - if not months - planning their jaw-dropping outfits for the big day, and while trends change year on year, one of the many things to stay the same at Aintree is the dedication to flamboyant headwear. There have been some very impressive outfits already today - but the stand out ones include some incredible hats.

In the past, ladies have worn some stunning hair accessories, including a hat made from Mini Cheddars and one of giant pink feathers with butterflies pinned in. This year, however, the ladies seem to have chosen a favourite style - and it's out in force today

While many have arrived in some stunning, colourful fascinators that certainly impress, others have opted for fedora-style hats. Some even feature a large feather that sets them apart from the crowd.

This year, many racegoers have chosen to go with a more traditional horse racing garb and came decked out in checked blazers, pants, knee high brown boots - and stylish fedora-style hats.
