The Grand National concludes today, with people venturing to Aintree racecourse in style.
The three day festival made its triumphant return after a two year hiatus brought on in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Last year's festival was a televised affair which occurred behind closed doors, meaning racing fans could only catch a glimpse of the action by tuning in at home.
Today, the grand finale of the racing extravaganza, has seen people united in their desire to celebrate and make up for lost time, kitted out in the finery which has become a trademark at Aintree. Yesterday saw the return of the much-loved Ladies Day and, with it, the coveted Style Award.

Donna Mulligan, 39, from Monaghan in Ireland, was crowned the Style Award winner in a classy, vibrant red dress from Karen Millen. She bagged a lucrative prize of £5,000, a £500 Never Fully Dressed/£300 House of Cavani voucher, a spa break and more. Speaking to the ECHO, Donna said: "I can't believe that I've won the prize, I'm just delighted."
But the fashionista wasn't alone, with crowds of stylish ticket-holders ensuring the judges had a tough job on their hands to choose just one winner. People were kitted out in stylish suits, colourful co-ords, sparkling sequins, monochrome looks and more - and today looks set to be no different.

The Randox Grand National 2022 kicked off on Thursday, April 7 and is concluding today, Saturday, April 9. It is held at Aintree racecourse.
