Craig Charles will perform a live DJ set at this year’s Grand National Festival.
The Liverpool-born former Red Dwarf and Coronation Street star will entertain crowds on the Red Rum Lawn on Ladies Day.
The DJ, who presents an afternoon slot on BBC 6 Music along with his popular The Craig Charles Funk And Soul Show every Saturday evening, is excited for crowds to return to the Grand National at Aintree for the first time in three years. He said: “Being a native of the city, I know just how much of an institution Ladies Day is for the people of Liverpool.
“Having not taken place since 2019 due to the pandemic, it’s sure going to be a party like no other this year. I can’t wait to perform my DJ set and hopefully we can party until way past bedtime!”
