Former Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon was heading to Aintree for the Grand National today.
Lucy, who played Bethany Platt in the ITV soap from 2015 to 2020, posted on Instagram to say she was off to the Grand National with a friend to celebrate the final day. Wearing a mint green dress with a large bow in the back, the 26-year-old looked stunning as she posed for a photo.
Lucy paired the mini dress with hot pink platform heels as she sipped a Bellini. Writing on Instagram the TV star made a joke about creases in her dress, she said: "The moments you wish you ironed your dress."
Her full Instagram caption said: "The moments you wish you ironed your dress. RACES WITH MY GAL." Lucy will be in new ITV drama Tom Jones, an the adaptation of Henry Fielding’s classic novel.
The 26-year-old will play Molly who will charm young Tom. The Grand National has made its triumphant return after a two year hiatus brought on in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Last year's festival was a televised affair which occurred behind closed doors, meaning racing fans could only catch a glimpse of the action by tuning in at home. But racegoers, TV stars and celebrities are making up for lost time celebrating today and today in the grand finale.
