The racing series has been loved by fans for the past two decades and Gran Turismo 7 is a celebration of the franchise's 25th anniversary. With all of its new additions and features, the latest game can be daunting for newcomers.

Focus on Getting Your Licenses
While players are often locked from accessing much of Gran Turismo 7 in the beginning, you have a chance to head to the license center relatively quickly. This works as more of an in-depth tutorial and provides a challenging set of mini-races, according to DigitalTrends.
Players can unlock five licenses in Gran Turismo 7, which are; National B, National A, International B, International A, and Super. The first two serve as introductory lessons to every scenario in the game.
The second two then take those lessons you learned and put you in faster cars, set faster times, and throw different combinations of scenarios at players. The last license puts players behind the wheel of the fastest cars available in the game, such as the Lamborghini Aventador and F1 cars.
Follow Your Lines
The primary goal of the license center is to teach players the more nuanced mechanics of the highly popular racing game. One of these is race lines, which is a yellow segmented line that traces the entire track.
The goal of this is to help you keep your car moving in as straight a line as possible and the less you have to turn the wheel, the better. One example that the lines show you is that when coming up on a turn, it is better for you to be on the other side of the track to have more space to maneuver.
Don't Use Auto-Braking
When you just start up Gran Turismo 7, the game offers you a few different levels of assist, and auto-braking is one of those options. By default, it is on but you can simply change it before you even start your first race, said PocketLint.
It is recommended to ditch this feature as soon as possible because being able to brake for yourself will get you faster times. This is something that the game itself explains to players down the line.
Avoid Buying Cars Early
While it could be highly tempting to buy new cars whenever you get enough cash, this is not particularly recommended. One reason is that credits are particularly hard to come by and some cars, such as the Gr.3 and Vision Gt, could cost you more than 1 million credits, according to Redbull.
You should save money by first double-checking if you have any eligible cars from your garage before buying a new one for a particular event. If you are simply completing menus, you should always have a suitable car ready to go.
