A gran stole more than £46,000 from her sleeping husband to give to an online lover thousands of miles away. Patricia Passman, known as Tricia, had hoped to find new love with her US 'boyfriend'.
However after sending a mixture of Amazon vouchers and funds overseas it emerged she was the victim of a scam. By the time the thefts were uncovered she had stolen £46,700 from her estranged husband of 40-years.
Her behaviour has left her husband, Tim, in financial ruin. And rather than being comfortably off he was dealing with debt and facing bills to pay, reports Teesside Live.
