Gran at head of family drug ring died after homeowner stabbed her when she stormed his house in terrifying armed attack

A drug dealing mum died when she was stabbed by a homeowner trying to defend himself after she stormed his home with her son in a terrifying armed attack.

Debbie Twist, a 47-year-old grandmother of three, was killed after she, her son Jordan Winstanley and one other decided to collect a drug debt from the father of a customer, who owed them £120.

The trio were all clad in masks when they descended on the house in Manchester Road, Leigh, wielding a hammer and machete on March 17, 2019, smashing through the back window and bursting inside. The victim, whose pregnant partner was also at home at the time, was threatened with a 'firearm', GMP said.
