Graham Potter has an abundance of attacking talent at his disposal at Chelsea. Just look at the Blues' last two fixtures. Against Wolves, Raheem Sterling, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Hakim Ziyech were all left out of the starting XI, while it was Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic and Armando Broja who took to the bench at San Siro in midweek.
Typically, there is room for just three of four attacking players in Potter's system, meaning players are going to be unhappy at different points. Havertz has started three of the five games Potter has managed at Chelsea so far, playing in a couple of different roles.
Against RB Salzburg and Crystal Palace, Havertz started behind the striker, whereas he led the line in the win over Wolves, with Aubameyang rested. He was mostly used as a centre-forward under Thomas Tuchel at the beginning of the season, but that was before the deadline day arrival of Aubameyang.
