The contrast in the way Chelsea and Arsenal have started the 2022/23 season is evidently clear visually in the Premier League table. Arsenal could end today back on top of the table while the Blues find themselves in seventh.
The Blues have endured a mixed bag so far this season, winning six of their 12 games. After Thomas Tuchel was dismissed in September, Graham Potter has slowly began to implement his ideas on his squad and has reaped the rewards with only one defeat in 10 games.
However, they remain some part away from the Gunners and Manchester City at the top of the table after Mikel Arteta's side have themselves started to receive plenty of praise for their start to the season. The north Londoners have only suffered defeat once in the league this season and have found themselves as Pep Guardiola's closest rivals for the Premier League title.

Today's highly-anticipated clash at Stamford Bridge provides Chelsea the opportunity to test themselves against one of the league's best and respond to last week's 4-1 drubbing against Brighton. Arteta's side have come on leaps and bounds since his appointment in 2019 with most of his players signed or bedded into the squad by the Spaniard himself.
Raheem Sterling has spoken very highly of the Gunners ahead of the game and has revealed how the Blues are looking to replicate the Gunners' methods of squad building. Speaking to the Chelsea official website, the 27-year-old said: "Everyone probably can see they've had a great start to the season, they're playing some beautiful stuff and Mikel's got them playing some free-flowing football, that's for sure.
"It's a team that they've been building for a few years now. That's what we're looking to do, to keep building, and it's a game that I think will be a really interesting one.
"They're a possession-dominant team and so are ourselves, so I think it will be a good match."
