Appointing Graham Potter as head coach represents a change of approach for Chelsea. Potter's reputation skyrocketed during his spell at Brighton, but it's a huge jump stepping up to manage a European heavyweight in Chelsea.
Almost every Chelsea manager appointed since 2010 has had previous experience managing a big European side. Frank Lampard and Roberto Di Matteo didn't, but every other boss the Blues have appointed in that period had previously managed a European side expected to compete for trophies.
Potter has an interesting background, getting into coaching through University football before earning his stripes in Sweden with Ostersunds. The 47-year-old then returned to the UK to manage Swansea City and Brighton.
