Eurovision Song Contest commentator Graham Norton has said he can "show no favouritism" regarding which UK city should host.
Liverpool and Glasgow will go head to head after being whittled down from seven potentials that included Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds. After each city sent off a bid to secure the event, the BBC’s Host City Selection Committee looked at criteria including accessibility, accommodation and press centres before reaching their conclusion.
The United Kingdom's face of Eurovision and official commentator, Graham Norton, stressed he could "show no favouritism" over where the competition is held but added Glasgow would be a "great place to have it".

Speaking to STV's News at Six on Tuesday, he said: "I think Glasgow would be a great place to have it.
"You've got the amazing venues, you've got the hotels, airports, the trains and the banter. Every taxi driver of Glasgow is going to be saying, 'Yes. Come on.'"
Scouse Eurovision 1993 act Sonia has backed Liverpool as the place to host, stating the city has so much to offer. Speaking on This Morning, she said: "We have the music heritage of the world. It's just gonna be massive. It's got to be Liverpool."
The UK is hosting next year's Eurovision Song Contest after coming second in this year's event to Ukraine, however, the Russian invasion means the event cannot be staged there. News on whether the competition will be held in Liverpool or Glasgow won't be ready for several more weeks.
