Liverpool has done an outstanding job of hosting Eurovision and many fans were moved to tears when Eurovision legends came together to perform You'll Never Walk Alone, including host Graham Norton. Liverpool native Sonia was one of the acts performing and Sam Ryder also joined her on stage.
After the moving rendition, Graham came back on stage saying "You don't see that every day, I've got a tear in my silly old eye" and many viewers felt the same. One said: "I'm not crying... I'm not crying... I'm not crying #Eurovision2023".
Another said: "not me crying at this omg…. #Eurovision2023" And: "I have something in my eye. Beautiful. #Eurovision2023". A fourth said: "Please this song is making me so emotional" and another added: "THIS IS EMOTIONAL WHAT #Eurovision2023".

Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, surprised viewers when she appeared in a cameo in Eurovision's pre-filmed opening sequence playing the piano. One said: "Wow, Duchess Kate playing the piano #Eurovision2023" and: "AND KATE MIDDLETON PLAYING PIANO?! WHAT???" Another said: "I did not have Princess Kate playing the piano to "Stefania" in my Bingo card..." And: "Amazing cameo from Kate, Princess of Wales #Eurovision".
