Graeme Souness has heaped praise on Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta for replacing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with Gabriel Jesus, who he believes is an 'upgrade' on the new Chelsea striker.
The former Arsenal captain, who left the Gunners in January to join Barcelona, signed for Chelsea on deadline day on a two-year deal. Arteta was happy to let Aubameyang leave in January after the striker reportedly committed a disciplinary breach, which led to him being stripped of the captaincy.
The Gunners have now moved on from Aubameyang, with Jesus making a splash since arriving from Manchester City this summer. In his first five appearances, the Brazilian forward has scored three goals and provided three assists for the Gunners.
