Graeme Souness has labelled Mohamed Salah as the 'greediest player' he’s watched after Liverpool’s win over Manchester United.
The Reds thrashed United 4-0 at Anfield to move two points ahead of Manchester City in the title race having played a game more. A brace from Salah combined with goals from Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane secured all three points for Jurgen Klopp's side.
Salah had gone six league matches without a goal before netting a brace against Ralf Rangnick's side. He also chipped in with the assist for Diaz to open the scoring.

Speaking at full-time, Souness went on to rave about Salah’s ability, but did make a claim about the Egyptian being greedy.
“He is the greediest player I have ever seen," said Souness "He is a brilliant player but he has been the greediest player I have seen.
“He’s a truly great player, he had the incident with Sadio Mane a couple of years ago where he (Mane) fell out with Salah because he didn’t pass to him. But him not scoring for six games, a minor blip.”
Souness went on to give his opinion on another incident in the game, which saw Naby Keita avoid a red card for a challenge on Jesse Lingard. The former Liverpool midfielder argued that Keita should have been sent off for the tackle, despite only recently entering the pitch as a substitute.
“It is a definite red card. I am surprised VAR did not overturn it because it is a shocker from (Naby) Keita,” said the former Liverpool captain.
Roy Keane, who was working alongside Souness for Sky’s coverage of Liverpool’s win, was in agreement with the Reds legend about Keita deserving a red card for his tackle.
“Yeah I agree, it is a red card all day long,” Keane said. “But I think even if (Naby) Keita had been sent off, it would not have changed the outcome of the game. It would have only affected Liverpool going forward with the suspension.”
