Graham Potter has heaped praise on Newcastle United and Eddie Howe ahead of the big clash at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.
Potter has done a remarkable job with the Seagulls and turned them into an established top 10 side. Their progress was underlined with a 2-1 win at Manchester United no less last weekend.
But he has warned his players they face a tough test against the Magpies at home this week, Potter said: "Newcastle were impressive at the weekend. Eddie's done a fantastic job.

"He's improved them as a team and improved individuals. I have a lot of respect for the job he's done."
Potter was then asked about Dan Burn's return to Brighton after leaving the club last January for £13million. Burn has already stated he intends to say thank you to fans after his rushed move last January.
Potter said: "I think and hope Dan will get a good reception. Our fans are fair and understand he gave his best. During my time he really contributed to what we achieved. He's a top person and top professional."
Reflecting on the 2-1 win at Man United, Potter stated he enjoyed the big occasion but now wants a home win. Potter said: "The result on Sunday was very nice! You can't be perfect all the time, I thought we suffered and we had to get some small margins - which we didn't get. But we performed well, kept our heads and focused on what we had to do.
"It's best to win in front of your supporters. I won't complain if we get points elsewhere but it's nice to win at home and that's what we'll try to do."
