Graeme Dott removed from World Snooker Hall of Fame after child sex abuse conviction

Former champion Graeme Dott has been removed from World Snooker’s Hall of Fame after being convicted of sexually abusing two primary school age children.

Dott, who won the World Snooker Championship in 2006, was found guilty on Monday of two counts of lewd, indecent and libidinous behaviour towards the children. The 49-year-old Scot also reached the final at the Crucible in 2004 and 2010, losing the former to Ronnie O’Sullivan and the latter against Australia’s Neil Robertson.
