THERE’S still time to snap up tickets for a Big Night Out ahead of the SNP conference.
The Aberdeen Independence Movement (AIM) and The National will be in Aberdeen on Friday for some fantastic debate on the big issues set to come up over the following few days.
As well as a welcome from Stephen Flynn MP, MSPs in attendance will include Karen Adam, Keith Brown, Maggie Chapman and Christina McKelvie – digging into the debate on the code of conduct motion.
Glasgow councillor Roza Salih and prominent lawyer and activist Aamer Anwar will also be speaking.
The National’s deputy editor Stewart Ward said: “We’re excited to be working with AIM on this pre-conference Big Night Out.
“With a return to in-person proceedings over the weekend and into Monday, we know many of our readers will be up in the Granite City.
“While there’ll be plenty of fun to be had at this event, we’re also
excited to see some of the major debates that will be taking place across conference kick-off.
“We’ll have must-read coverage of conference season across the board, but for those who can attend this night, it’ll be a great chance to hear what’s happening at the heart of it.
“This is a crucial period for Scotland. As the nation’s pro-independence newspaper, we want to help facilitate the debate on how we best secure it. And if you see National journalists at conference, have a chat with us!”
The event will be held from 7pm to 10pm at the Park Inn in Aberdeen on Friday, October 7.
Standard tickets are £12, youth-student tickets are £8, and concession tickets are £8. There will be on-the-door entry on the night, with those tickets costing £15.
