The government is looking to widen the coverage of its monthly Index of Services Production (ISP) to capture a larger share of India's services economy, with the Statistics Ministry seeking public feedback on a proposed expansion of the index.
The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has released an approach paper outlining the proposed methodology and invited comments from experts, academicians, central government ministries and departments, state governments, financial institutions and other stakeholders.
