New York Governor Kathy Hochul, a Democrat, expressed her support for President Joe Biden during a meeting with fellow Democrat governors. Following the meeting, Governor Hochul stated that President Biden is committed to seeking another four-year term. She emphasized that the president outlined his plans during the meeting, and she, along with other governors, pledged their support to him due to the critical nature of the current political climate.
Governor Hochul highlighted the importance of standing with President Biden to prevent a potential return to a monarchy or tyranny, which goes against the principles that the founding fathers of the United States fought for. She underscored the need to resist any forces that could lead the country back to such a state, specifically mentioning former President Donald Trump as a potential threat.
