Government to crackdown on betting and vape shops to revitalise high streets

Prime Minister Andy Burnham has announced plans to crackdown on vape shops, betting shops and rogue businesses on British high streets.

The changes will mean that betting and vape stores will soon require planning permission before opening, giving councils and residents a direct say in shaping their high streets.
