Fund to unlock manufacturing potential: Gallagher

Finance Minister Katy Gallagher says she's surprised the opposition opposes a $15 billion manufacturing fund aimed at unlocking Australia's economic potential and strengthening supply chains.

Senator Gallagher denies the fund would be inflationary, saying it would instead unlock industry's potential.

"The opportunities are real," she told AAP on Wednesday.
