Government moves to overhaul ANU Council following 'governance failures'

The government is moving to make changes to the legislation that governs the Australian National University in the aftermath of a tumultuous period at the university.

The proposed reforms would aim to modernise the ANU Act with a focus on the roles and responsibilities of the ANU Council.
