Government ‘has very small window’ to prevent doctors’ strike as talks fail to reach resolution

Crunch talks between doctors and health secretary Wes Streeting to avert next week’s strikes failed to reach a resolution on Thursday.

There is now a “very small window of opportunity” for the government and resident doctors to reach an agreement to avert strike action, the Resident Doctors Committee (RDC) has warned.
