The Parasite, The Kill Bill and The Shrek are on the menu of a burger company that will be launching in Nottingham soon. Luxford Burgers are a delivery-only company that will be working out of a dark kitchen.
The extensive catchment area ranges from Bestwood village in the north, Barton in Fabis in the south, Stapleford in the west and Netherfield in the east. Since starting in Edinburgh in 2020, where it has been described as "burger heaven", the company has expanded to Glasgow and Manchester. It will start operating in Nottingham on May 9.
A spokesperson said: "We thought a Nottingham launch would be the perfect way to break into the Midlands. It's a city that's really beautiful in so many areas, a bustling town of a great size - akin to Edinburgh where we started. We are very aware of the great offerings in Nottingham, and I would say that what will make Luxford stand out there are the same things that make Luxford stand out in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester.

"We put flavour forward - our burgers look fantastic really without even trying. As we expand and change the menu, we always look to add delicious flavour combinations, twists on your classic cheeseburgers and fried chicken burgers, with authentic, fresh ingredients.
"I know of course we would say this, but every single burger is a completely unique experience to the other, that's where the great theming really comes from. It works very well with a menu this dynamic, we have found there is a heck of a lot you can do between two buns!"
The menu has 15 burgers to choose from. The Breakfast Club comes with two steak two patties, smashed hash brown and maple baconnaise. The Parasite's crispy chicken is glazed with a sweet and sticky Korean gochujang sauce, topped with fresh spring onion and cucumber for a zingy Asian kick.
The chicken, cheese and sriracha mayo is all vegan on The Scarface. Sides of onion rings, fried chicken tenders and Korean cauliflower bites can be ordered and five varieties of fries, from simple skin-on to chicken katsu.
