Gotham Knights has a bunch of puzzles that you’ll come across over the course of the main story, and one of the more baffling one is one that simply tells you to “Align the frequencies.”
You’ll find this puzzle within the abandoned Arkham Asylum, in the tower. Once you make your way inside, you’ll need to change through the frequencies here, but it really doesn’t explain exactly how you should approach this puzzle. Below we’ll be breaking down exactly how you can align the frequencies and solve this tricky puzzle in Gotham Knights.
How to solve the ‘Align the frequencies’ puzzle – Gotham Knights
This puzzle is simple on the surface, but has a hidden layer you need to pay attention to. Each of the four frequency transmitters in the tower are connected to a machine – you can follow the cable attached to them to figure out which machine. The machine shows a frequency, and when you have the same frequency on the transmitter, it goes green. Simple, right?
Well, that won’t solve the puzzle, as there’s an extra layer you need to know. The machine in the center of the room has four frequencies on it, in a specific, numbered, order. You need to find which machine attached to the transmitters has the correct sine wave on it, and then activate those transmitters in the order indicated by the central machine. Sound complicated? Don’t worry, we’ll give you the exact answer you need to know below.
‘Align the frequencies’ puzzle solution – Gotham Knights
Once you know how the puzzle works, it’s just a case of turning each transmitter green in a specific order.
- The first transmitter you need to turn green is the first to the right of the center machine.
- The second transmitter you need to turn green is to the far right of the center machine.
- The third transmitter you need to turn green is the first to the left of the center machine.
- The fourth and final transmitter you need to turn green is to the far left of the center machine.
Once that’s all done, the puzzle will be complete, and you can head back down in Arkham Asylum to continue the main story.
