Gorka Marquez appears to have triggered a demand to fiance Gemma Atkinson from fans as he left a sweet comment on her latest Instagram post. The Hits Radio host took to the social media platform with a rather emotional video.
It showed Gemma, 37, during her stint on Casualty. She appeared in the BBC One hospital drama from 2011 to 2012 and returned two years later as paramedic Tamzin Bayle. Her return, however, was brief as she was last seen on the show in 2014 following Matt Bardock, who played Tamzin's paramedic colleague and love interest, Jeff Collier's departure.
Gemma left as Tamzin following Jeff's funeral and the actress decided to look back at the emotional scenes she filmed alongside the likes of Coronation Street star Jane Hazlegrove at Jeff's funeral. "Exactly 8yrs ago today we filmed these final @bbccasualtyofficial scenes for Jeff," she penned alongside the clip.
"It may not look it in this particular scene, but what a fun time we had @mattbardock @michaeltstevenson," she added, referring to the fact that she and other characters were in tears as they called through to Jeff's radio for one last time, with Tamzin breaking down into Big Mac's arms during the service
"Constant belly laughs, way to many takeaways and the occasional horrendous night shoot," Gemma added. "The nicest cast & crew and mates for life! I loved playing Tamzin."
And Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka was quick to respond, telling his wife-to-be, "I want to see you act again!!" alongside a string of love heart eye and applause emojis. And fans of the former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale star appeared to agree. @jenna_29071111 said: "Me too!"
@caraoakes13 replied: "yessssssssssssss do it @glouiseatkinson." @buddie2875 commented: "So would I. @glouiseatkinson has a fantastic talent for it." @minxyshark shared: "100% agreed, @glouiseatkinson find another gritty roll and sink your teeth into it ... we need you back on screen." @mrs_jillmc posted: "Yes!!! We need @glouiseatkinson back in our screens."
But the reminder of the emotional scenes also promopted fans to respond. @kerrylpickles said: "This was like reliving it all again." @bellaboosgifts commented: "Absolutely broke my heart this did!" @lindaruth26 replied: "I loved Tamsin! Bloody hell you just made me cry all over again! Loved that cast…" @nicolacarolan added: "I cried so hard when I first watched it, and I’ve just cried again."
