Gorka Marquez addresses fans' constant comment with three-word response over Gemma Atkinson snaps as she confirms Strictly future

Gorka Marquez tried to give a response before fans' comments came flooding in on one of his fiancée Gemma Atkinson's latest posts. The pregnant Hits Radio host took to Instagram over the weekend to show off her latest photoshoot and interview, her first since revealing she was expecting her second child.

Gemma, 38, and Gorka, 32, who met on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2017, will be welcoming a little boy into the family. They shared the news alongside a string of black and white images which Gemma and dancer Gorka both posted to their Instagram pages after the mum-to-be said it was "impossible" to hide her growing bump any longer.

Gemma has since been keeping her followers updated on her pregnancy journey, having previously confirmed that her son is due in the summer, and at the end of last week, she shared her first scan picture since announcing their family's wonderful news.

She shared a motivational video which showed her through various stages of her life but one thing remained constant - exercise. The keen fitness advocate could be seen working out at the gym over the years, flexing her impressive muscles, as well as in training for Strictly Come Dancing almost six years ago with her dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec.

But the video then sweetly ended with a video of one of Gemma's scans clearly showing her and Gorka's growing unborn son. "Grateful I get to be on this journey again. The aches, swelling, niggles, changes all happening again," she typed alongside the video set to a motivational speech from Fearless Motivation, titled Struggle Makes You Stronger.

She then added at the end of her post as she looked at the clip from her scan: "And it’s clear my baby boy already knows this, his dukes are already up!"

Gemma then returned to her social media platform over the weekend as she shared a look at her gorgeous snaps from the cover shoot with The Sun's Fabulous magazine. Alongside the images that showed off her blossoming bump, the Bury-born star wrote: "Thank you for having me for Mother’s Day @fabulousmag It’s nice I get to keep some glamorous photos of this pregnancy as opposed to the braless in trackies with no makeup pictures I currently have!"

She then returned with a video that showed the 38-year-old posing in front of the camera as she sported a few different outfits, including an angelic white figure-hugging dress and a black gown boasting a dramatic thigh-high split and cut-out.

But Gorka had already been quick to share Gemma's first post to his own Instagram Story, alongside which the dancer wrote: "Yeah before you all say it..." before adding his three-word response: "I am lucky!!!"

The message came before the Spanish-born star shared an adorable post to celebrate his love Gemma on Mother's Day. The Strictly pro shared a photo montage of Hits Radio presenter Gemma, with their three-year-old daughter Mia.

Loved-up Gorka tugged on heartstrings as he wrote heartfelt words for the former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale actress. "Happy Mother's Day to the best one!!" he said. And he added: "Like Mía says... We lovee you for hundreds of years @glouiseatkinson #mothersday #happmothersday #hmd."

Former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks actress Gemma replied: "Thank you!" And she told her man with a stream of love hearts: "I love you." And amused by the quote from Mia she said with crying-laughing emojis: "Hundreds of years."

In her interview with Fabulous, Gemma confirmed Gorka's future on Strictly after fans feared he'd quit after missing out on the Glitterball trophy with Helen Skelton in December. “He is doing the Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals tour in May, then he’s booked off June and July [around when the baby is due] so we can be at home together," she told the publication.

"Then hopefully he’ll start the show again in August. He loves dancing and the whole Strictly family so much, but he’s wary of taking time away from his family. Being together when the baby is born means he can be fully focused on doing the show from August to Christmas.”
