Gorillaz have teamed up with award-winning alcohol brand Smirnoff to launch a new bottle of limited-edition vodka.
Damon Albarn’s virtual band, who have sold over 27 million records worldwide, helped design the exclusive Smirnoff x Gorillaz bottle that's available from today (October 27). Costing £16.50, shoppers can get their hands on the special edition at online giant Amazon.
The colourful print on the custom bottle features Gorillaz band members Murdoc, 2D, Noodle and Russel, who can be seen raising a glass to the collaboration.
The 'True Originals' project also sees the group’s characters create their own cocktail recipes including Murdoc's Vodka Murdini - a spin on the classic vodka martini - and Russel's Smirnoff Brooklyn, which pays homage to the vodka Manhattan and Russel’s love of chilli.
Other cocktail recipes made by the band members include the Vodka Eyeball and the Sayonara Martini Cocktail. If you fancy trying these concoctions at home, all of the recipes can be found on the limited-edition No. 21 bottle.
Speaking of the collaboration, Murdoc said: “Nothing to see here folks — just the OG vodka brand teaming up with the OG virtual band. Cheers Smirnoff — pleasure doing business with you! I'm not usually one for labels, but this is a beauty!”

Gorillaz consists of four fictional animated members: 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Russel Hobbs and Noodle.
The band, which was created by singer Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, released their debut album Gorillaz in 2001 and have become a truly global cultural phenomenon.
Gorillaz is currently prepping a new album titled Cracker Island, which is due to be released on February 24, 2023.
