Gordon Elliott landed a double at the American Grand National meeting at Far Hills on Saturday as The Insider and Ted Hastings won their respective races.
The Insider romped home in the Gladstone Hurdle Stakes by over 17 lengths before Ted Hastings won the Foxbrook Champion Hurdle Stakes just under 40 minutes later.
Both horses were ridden to victory by Davy Russell, who also finished third on Soviet Pimpernel in the Appleton Hurdle Stakes later on the card at the New Jersey venue for the Meath trainer.

Elliott picked up around €63,000 in prize money combined for the connections of the two winning horses.
The victories came ahead of Hewitt's sensational victory in the American Grand National for Carlow trainer John 'Shark' Hanlon, who described the win as "a dream come through".
He said: "He travelled so well.
"Everyone was saying that the trip was too short, that we were wrong to come here, but he has a lot more pace than people think he has. Look, it's a dream come through for us. 'Tis my own young lad looking after him."
