GORDON Brown is set to star in a one-off show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The former Labour leader will “delve into his iconic political career” during an interview with comedian Matt Forde.
Baroness Ruth Davidson and Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries will also appear in shows at this year’s festival.
Forde will quiz Brown on his The Political Party show at the McEwan Hall.
The former prime minister previously appeared at the Edinburgh Book Festival in 2019.
Davidson and Dorries, as well as Rory Stewart, Labour leader Keir Starmer, predecessor Jeremy Corbyn and deputy leader Angela Rayner, will all join broadcaster Iain Dale for a series of “in conversation with…” events at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
This year’s festival starts on August 5 and finishes on August 29.
