LUCKNOW: Murtaza Abbasi, who’s accused of attacking two provincial armed constabulary jawans outside Gorakhnath temple, suffered ragging and humiliation during his stint at IIT-Bombay, his father told interrogators on Sunday. Murtaza’s remand ends on Monday and will be produced in court.
Sources said, father of accused, Munir Abbasi, disclosed his son wanted to quit the B.Tech course at IIT and return home. In the second year, he left the hostel and began staying with his father in Mumbai.
