Gorakhnath Temple attack case: Murtaza Abbasi gave Rs 8.5 lakh to IS sympathisers, claims ATS

LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (UP ATS) on Saturday claimed that the accused in Gorakhnath Temple attack case, Murtaza Abbasi, had transferred Rs 8.5 lakh to the sympathisers of terror outfit ISIS from his own account.

Officials added that Murtaza, who is in police remand till May 2, acted like an ISIS-inspired “lone wolf” and took oath as an ISIS member in 2020.
