Republican Senator Bill Cassidy from Louisiana expressed his sorrow and concern following a tragic attack in New Orleans. In a post on social media platform X, Senator Cassidy described the incident as 'so tragic' and urged people to give thanks to the police officers who responded to the situation.

Senator Cassidy also called for remembrance of the wounded and deceased individuals, as well as their families. The attack, which took place on January 1, 2025, has left a somber impact on the community and raised concerns about public safety.
