During a recent session, GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert expressed her concerns regarding the recent vote that saw 38 Republicans defy leadership and President-elect Donald Trump's wishes by voting down a plan he supported. Boebert mentioned that she believed Trump may have been misled into supporting what she referred to as a 'bad bill.'

Boebert emphasized that while she voted in favor of the bill, she did not anticipate the outcome of the vote and did not want to witness a failure on the House floor, especially for Trump's initial request to House Republicans. She stated, 'I did not want to see a failure on the House floor for the first demand that President Trump is making.'
