Alejandro Garnacho channelled his inner Cristiano Ronaldo with a wonderful finish in the 2-0 win at Leeds United on Sunday.
After starting in Wednesday's 2-2 draw against the Whites but failing to impact the game, Garnacho returned to the substitutes bench on Sunday and was replaced by Jadon Sancho. But as with the meeting at Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag's side met a relentless and physical Leeds outfit as they struggled to build momentum.
Introduced from the bench just past the hour, the 18-year-old saw Marcus Rashford open the scoring with a lovely header before taking advantage of a tiring Whites side five minutes later. He picked up a Wout Weghorst pass to storm past Robin Koch and fire the ball in at Illan Meslier's near post.

After seeing the ball bounce in off the post, the Argentinian ran towards the away end and appeared to imitate Ronaldo's 'I'm Here' celebration - a moment United fans picked up on.
Despite conceding the majority of chances to a manager-less Leeds side, United were clinical when called upon. Rashford's brilliantly placed header put the Reds on the front foot with 10 minutes to spare before Garnacho all but ended the contest. The away side had the ball in the net twice more before the final whistle, although both Rashford and Weghorst - still looking for his first league goal - were offside.
Three points took United above Manchester City and up to second in the league, their four wins in the last five games a source of momentum going into Thursday's Europa League first-leg knockout play-off against Barcelona.
