Nothing screams Nottingham quite like Goose Fair and it's back for the first time since 2019. Because the fair has been extended to ten days for 2022 to make up for missing two years, the dates and start times are slightly different to usual.
Traditionally the fair starts on the first Wednesday in October and runs until Sunday October 7. However, this year's fair will take place at Forest Recreation Ground from Friday September 30 until Sunday October 9.
The fair will be starting later on week days too. Here's a run down of the opening times for this year's event.

Opening times are as follows:
- Monday to Friday 4pm to 11pm
- Saturday noon to 11pm
- Sunday noon to 9pm
The official charter reading and ringing of the bell by Nottingham's Lord Mayor will take place on Thursday October 6 at 4pm.
