Messages of support have flooded in for Gogglebox star Ellie Warner following the "heartbreaking" reports that her boyfriend is "on life support" in hospital after being hit by a car in Leeds.
Nat Eddleston is said to be critically ill and in intensive care after suffering a number of serious injuries in a crash in the Halton area shortly after midnight on Saturday. A family member told The Sun that he has needed the help of a life support machine.
According to the family member, Nat suffered a broken neck, two collapsed lungs, a broken back and suspected brain damage as a result of the collision.

Ellie and Nat have been together for a number of years and recently bought their first home together. The family member, who did not want to be identified, said Nat had been hit by a car after a night out in Leeds.
"Nat is in intensive care with a broken neck, broken back, two collapsed lungs and possible brain damage," they said. "He is on a life support machine and all the family and Ellie are obviously very worried for him."
The Sun reports that Ellie is "fearful" that Nat has suffered brain damage following the accident on Friday night. Nat, who is in his 30s, is understood to have been out with friends in a pub in Halton.
After publishing the story about Nat's injuries last night, LeedsLive received over 150 messages from fans sending their best wishes to the couple. Nicola Eddleston wrote: "We are all thinking of you Nat, everything crossed & wishing you a speedy recovery, hugs 2 u all luv from us all."
Jackie Blakeborough said: "Just read about this, my thoughts are with Ellie and her family. Fingers crossed alls well with her partner and that he makes a speedy recovery."
Another fan posted: "So sorry to hear this sending love and hope he pulls through you are in my prayers."
Terry Cliff messaged: "Oh this is so sad and heartbreaking. My thoughts are with you and your families. Hope Nat pulls through and makes a good recovery."
Katie Rothery said: "Tonight I loved them both on the show , I do hope he pulls through."
Paula Norman added: "God bless her and her gentleman. He will get through this and don't give up on him."
On Saturday, West Yorkshire Police appealed for witnesses after a man was hit by a car near to The Woodman Pub in Halton shortly after midnight. The road was cordoned off by officers on Saturday morning. It has not been confirmed whether this is linked to the crash which left Mr Eddleston injured.
