Google fined 400 million euro for GDPR breach

Google has been fined more than 400 million euro (£345 million) for breaches of GDPR (general data protection regulation).

Ireland’s Data Protection Commission (DPC) launched an inquiry into Google Ireland six years ago, after complaints from multiple European consumer rights organisations about the tech giant’s processing of location data.
