‘Good touch for a big man’: How Peter Crouch shocked new team-mates with his velvet touch

Peter Crouch EPL Manchester City
BT Sport pundit Peter Crouch looks on prior to the Premier League match between Fulham and Manchester City at Craven Cottage on March 13, 2021 in London, England. Sporting stadiums around the UK remain under strict restrictions due to the Coronavirus Pandemic as Government social distancing laws prohibit fans inside venues resulting in games being played behind closed doors.

Former England international Peter Crouch has opened up on how his team-mates were shocked he had such a good touch for a player as tall as the striker was.

At 6 ft 7, Crouch became well-known for his unique look on the pitch, but over the years went on to forge a successful career for himself, scoring over 100 Premier League goals and representing his country 42 times at senior level.
