Good Morning Britain viewers were horrified as they spotted Edwina Currie's "unusual" decoration.
The former Conservative MP appeared on today's edition of the ITV news programme. The 75-year-old was grilled by Ed Balls and Charlotte Hawkins on whether Boris Johnson is shirking his responsibilities during the final days of his Prime Ministership.
The outgoing PM has been accused by Labour MP Lisa Nandy of having "clocked off" as he failed to attend a Cobra meeting on the UK heatwave and was snapped taking part in military training during a visit to Ukrainian troops in the UK. Ms Currie defended Mr Johnson's actions and said the Prime Minister '"isn't responsible for everything" and there are senior ministers in Whitehall on duty.

She added: "August is a time when Parliament isn't sitting. No legislation is having to be taken through Parliament." Charlotte insisted the country "still needs to be run" as there are a "lot of big issues going on at the moment".
Ms Currie was a Tory MP from 1983 - 1998 and Ed quizzed her on whether former Conservative leader John Major "would have behaved like this". However, the broadcaster was in hysterics when he claimed Ms Currie did not directly answer his question.
Viewers were distracted throughout the clash as they spotted Ms Currie had a carboard cutout of Boris Johnson in her home. Ms Currie addressed the decoration at the start of the interview as she attended a fundraising party for the Conservatives at Chequers yesterday, but viewers following the debate on Twitter were baffled by the cutout.
Tyler said: "She has a cutout of Boris Johnson in her house and supposed to take her serious?"
Ella commented: "Refuse to take anyone seriously with giant cardboard cutout of Boris Johnson in their living room"
Teena posted : "Nothing weird at all, Edwina Currie having a cardboard cutout of Boris Johnson…"
Jones added, alongside a sickened emoji: "A grown woman with a cardboard cutout of Boris Johnson in her front room"
