Good Morning Britain viewers were left furious with Adil Ray as they slammed him for making a 'disgusting' remark to Kate Garraway. The presenter and actor was back at the helm of the ITV news programme in replace of Kate's usual co-host Ben Shephard on Thursday (April 27).
On the penultimate show of the week, the presenting pair found themselves heading up a debate on whether pet owners should be vegan. After teasing that it was coming up, Lingo host Adil claimed that people smell like their pets: "You can smell them if they have pets," which appeared to unsettle Kate.
He continued: "You can smell if they have dogs or cats. You always can." Charlotte Hawkins, who was reading the latest news headlines, then interjected as she shared how she thought Sir Keir Starmer, who was a guest on the programme, has a hamster.
