Good Morning Britain viewers feel 'sick' as Matt Hancock breaks silence on I'm A Celebrity fee

Good Morning Britain viewers have been left sickened following Matt Hancock’s interview in which he was grilled by Richard Madley and Susanna Reid. The MP for West Suffolk was on Good Morning Britain for his first televised interview since he appeared in on I’m A Celebrity.

Mr Hancock's addition proved to be controversial as he was forced to resign during the pandemic after breaking his own social distancing rules, reports the Liverpool Echo. The former Health Secretary continued to insist his primary motivation to appear on I'm A Celebrity was to show a different side to his personality and to raise awareness of dyslexia.

However, hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley held Mr Hancock's claims to account on today's show. Richard revealed Mr Hancock received £330,000 for competing on the show and has given just £10,000 of this to charities.
