Good Morning Britain's Laura Tobin 'supports' Britain's Got Talent winner Viggo Venn with bright outfit

Laura Tobin showed her support for Britain's Got Talent winner Viggo Venn with her outfit choice on Good Morning Britain today (June 5), in the wake of last night's final. Viggo came out on top in a cohort of 11 finalists, who all performed for another time as they hoped to secure a slot at the Royal Variety Performance.

Young magician Cillian O'Connor finished in third place, leaving dancer Lillianna Clifton and Norwegian comedian Viggo battling it out for first place. Ultimately, it was hi-vis jacket-wearing Viggo that was crowned the winner, with members of the audience, who were also wearing hi-vis jackets, screaming "one more time" over and over again until the music started to play.

"I think your physical comedy is world-class," said judge Bruno Tonioli. "You have created one of the most memorable characters since Mr Bean."

Following on from last night's BGT final, presenter Ed Balls said on today's instalment of GMB: "There's been a bit of connecting going on amongst our viewers between the winner of Britain's Got Talent and Laura's dress sense this morning."

As the camera panned to weather presenter Laura, who was sat behind her laptop in a collared bright yellow dress with white and black stripes, Ed read out some tweets from viewers. One fan wrote: "Nice to see Laura wearing the Viggo hi-vis in support of his win on BGT!"

Another said: "Whoa! Laura wearing her own Viggo Venn tribute outfit this morning!" "I look like I've got a hi-vis," Laura confessed, before adding: "It's pure coincidence."

Ed said: "She's not a highlighter pen, she's wearing hi-vis."

Susanna Reid then chimed in, asking Laura if she had any jokes in a different language. Laura then awkwardly replied with a German joke, to which Susanna replied: "That's a good one, but only if you know German."
