Laura Tobin made a very bold and very promising prediction on the weather for Easter weekend, to the delight of Good Morning Britain viewers.
The weather over the past month has been a mixed bag to say the least. One minute we were all flocking to the beach and getting the garden furniture out as March hit some very unseasonal highs. But then, the summer-esque conditions plunged back into winter when snow fell in various parts of the country.
Since then, temperatures have been pretty much bang on for this time of year but weather host Laura stuck her neck on the line on Monday's GMB, by predicting highs of up to 20 degrees by the weekend, right in time for the Easter Bank Holiday. Giving an outlook for the week, she told her ITV colleagues in the studio and those watching at home, that temperatures would continue to climb during the week, starting with a peak of 18 on Monday and climbing to 20 on Good Friday.

Laura, who was recently at the centre of GMB's April Fools prank, did have some bad news for viewers in the south, telling them "it's bad news if you've just washed your cars," as she warned that Saharan Dust was on its way to the UK. She explained that this could see dust land on people's cars as it moves into south eastern areas of the UK.
She did also warn of some rather 'grey starts to the day,' and showers in the coming days, but held firm on her promises that it is set to warm up as we head towards the weekend. Reacting to GMB's online video of Laura's forecast, one Twitter user simply replied: "Yayyy," with another responding: "Thank u my darling."
