Good Morning Britain's Laura Tobin forced to halt weather as she apologises for on-air blunder

Laura Tobin found herself issuing a quick apology as she gave her latest weather report during Good Morning Britain.

The 41-year-old had to bring one of her multiple stints on the ITV news programme on Tuesday (June 6) to a halt when her personal life appeared to crash into her work one.

She was on the programme to bring viewers the latest weather updates while Susanna Reid and Ed Balls hosted the show. But was she got stuck into her work, Laura ended up having to try and figure out what she had going on in her personal life too.

As she started her forecast, the meteorologist's smart watch started beeping and she stopped the show to turn it off. But ever the pro, it didn't knock her off her stride as she quickly apologised to those watching and carried on.

"Ooh, my alarm's going off, sorry..." she said slightly panicked before adding: "Stop," as she attempted to switch off her device.

After finishing off the forecast, she chatted to the programme's hosting duo and admitted she had no idea why she'd even set the alarm.

Laura interrupted her own broadcast (ITV)

She told Susanna and Ed: "I'm trying to think why I'd set an alarm for 8am." Susanna joked that it might have been to remind herself that she had the weather to present on national television.

Ed then wondered if it could be because Laura often has a "hangover", but Susanna quickly shut that train of thought down as she told her co-host: "No, Laura never stays out late!"
