Ben Shephard was forced to issue an urgent apology on Good Morning Britain after an expletive filled t-shirt worn by Hollywood A-lister Kate Beckinsdale 'slipped through the net' and caused a stir amongst ITV viewers.
At the end of another week on the breakfast show, Tipping Point star Ben was joined by regular co-host Charlotte Hawkins and newcomer Maverine Cole behind the desk, with one of the segments of the three hour long episode being a debate about feeding foxes.
Birmingham Live reports that Kate, star of blockbusters films like Pearl Harbour, became a big talking point on social media this week after she shared a video of her feeding foxes in her garden, going against the opinions held by many others on the matter.
In a post uploaded to her accounts, Kate said: 'I've been so touched during a really hard week by the absolute force that is kindness and friendship... Please, everyone, put kindness somewhere, anywhere. It's life-altering. Thank you so much to all my special people. And my little orphan bestie."

The video of Kate feeding the foxes was shown during the debate on GMB, but producers failed to blur out the foul mouthed message on the top she was wearing. The tee carried the slogan: "f**k you, you f**king f**k," and it didn't take long for people watching at home to notice that the swear words hadn't been censored.
Rushing to Twitter, one wrote: "GMB might have wanted to blur Kate Beckinsale’s t-shirt on the video they showed. Bit early on a Friday morning for that level of profanity on live TV," with another posting: "not that it bothers me but did itv news forget to blur Kate Beckinsale’s top - oops. A blooper for half 8 morning tv viewing.
A third joked: "I just love how GMB is showing her "f**k t shirt on morning TV haha," and, raising the error Ben stepped in to say: "apparently the t-shirt in that video may have had a swear word on." He added; "I didn't see it but..."
ITV colleague Charlotte then added: "If you're eagle-eyed and offended we apologise," before Ben added: "For letting that slip through the net."
