Good Morning Britain's Ben Shephard stepped in to shed light on Laura Tobin's on-air hand gesture.
Weather presenter Laura Tobin has been in Egypt for the COP27 over the last five days to present directly from the climate change conference. ITV has stated they made sure to offset their carbon footprint for the journey after viewers criticised the broadcaster's presence as hypocritical.
Wrapping up her segment, Laura handed back over to the studio but the camera remained on her for longer than anticipated. After an initial silence, she began waving her hands in front of her throat whilst looking off-screen.

Ben and his co-host, Charlotte Hawkins, started to laugh before reassuring Laura they would "catch up" when she was back in the UK. Ben took it upon himself to shed some light on the mishap, stating it's something all presenters are very familiar with.
He said: "That's the international symbol for when you're live, by the way, before anybody thinks she's going to get in trouble. [It means] are we finished or are we done?"
