Adil Ray was praised by Good Morning Britain fans today after "going rogue" during an interview.
Tory MP Shaun Bailey was initially welcomed onto the ITV show by Adil and Kate Garraway. They were discussing the hot topic of Liz Truss resigning as Prime Minister yesterday, as the nation are calling for a general election.
But Adil took the Conservative's appearance as a chance to grill him on other matters too. The topic of how former Prime Minsiters had done running the country was discussed, including Boris Johnson's leadership which saw 'partygate' - a scandal where some members of the government were accused of partying in Number 10 as the rest of the nation remained in lockdown.

Adil said: "Shaun Bailey, you sit here now in front of us and in front of the audience at home and you were central to some of the most horrific allegations. You held a party in Conservative central headquarters while the rest of us were at home staying away from our family and people who were dying in hospital. Our family, relatives and friends and you had a party."
Mr Bailey replied: "Actually I never had a party and certainly not in lockdown. " But Adil wasn't done yet as he continued to grill the politician.
He said: "So why did you quit at the time?" The MP replied: "I did the thing that would make the party focus on delivering and that's what needs to be done now."
They both began to talk over each other as it became a bit heated before Mr Bailey said: "I'm trying to answer your question." He went on to repeat that he stepped down from his position as the government had lost focus on what was important.
While the interview seemed to be a bit of a car crash, fans on Twitter still praised Adil for giving the Tory MP a good grilling. One user said: "Adil has gone rogue #gmb."
Daisy said: "Well said Adil, Shaun Bailey another delusional Tory who hasn't a clue #gmb." Ste said: "Yes @adilray #GMB hold Shaun Bailey to account over his lockdown parties. Getting air time to save his own job with the Tories".
