The broadcasters fronted Friday's edition of the ITV news programme. They fronted a jam-packed programme that included an interview with Shadow Health Secretary, Jonathan Ashworth.

Adil shot back: "Well that was a nice handbrake turn there." Kate assured her co-host that there was a reason for the comment as she segued into a segment with weather forecaster, Laura Tobin.
She said: "There's a reason. It may take some time to work out what it is but it always makes sense in my head. I'm planting a tree this weekend with some of Derek's family who are coming down so it's going to be a lovely moment planting a fruit tree and Laura says we should definitely be doing that."
Laura explained how this weekend is important to demonstrate to support enivornmental protection. She said: "Tomorrow is Earth day and theme this week is investing in our planet."
It's been a busy week for Kate as she attended an Elton John gig at the 02 Arena on Monday, alongside her husband Derek. The former political lobbyist fell critically ill after contracting coronavirus in 2020 and Kate has helped care for him throughout his ongoing health battle.
Kate was wowed when Elton spotted them in the crowd and dedicated his hit song, Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me, to them. The presenter has taken to Instagram to reveal she has found footage of the emotional moment as she shared the clip with her 1.1m followers.
She said: "So this was a moment. Finally found someone who had actually filmed it rather than just burst into joyous tears as we did!!! Still can’t quite believe we were there at all - even hours before we feared Derek would be too weak - but he was determined
"Yes Derek has been back in hospital this week & yes there’s such a long road ahead but #eltonjohn & @davidfurnish you gave the kids & Derek a moment that we will never forget and has lifted their spirits again to feel anything is possible. Thank you for your inspiring music and huge heart."
