Good Morning Britain viewers were disappointed when they tuned in this morning to find their favourite host “missing” from the show.
The ITV breakfast show has seen a high rotation of staff in recent weeks, and on Thursday Adil Ray and Ranvir Singh appeared as co-hosts.
Despite, Adil, 48 and Ranvir, 45 being within the regular line-up of presenters, fans were disappointed not to see Ben Shephard as they thought it was a “Ben day.”
Some viewers were even concerned that ITV was “running out of staff” due to the major switch up in the panel every week.
A fan took to Twitter and wrote: "So looks like @GMB #GMB running out of staff Martin, Ben now Adil. Whoops nearly forgot Richard so is it different tomorrow too Susanna, Kate, Ranvir, Charlotte."
As an enraged viewer added: "WTF Is Adil doing in the studio?? It’s a #BenDay. Thursday Ruined #GMB Over to #BBCBreakfast."
However, other viewers were glad to see Adil and Ranvir back fronting the show together.
"A real mix of diversity presenting on #GMB this morning, news reader needs a bit more practice but… Well done @ITV,” a viewer wrote.
"GMB two great presenters on today, making my day,” a second said.
However, Ben did make an appearance on This Morning earlier in the week as he turned out to support his friend and Ninja Warrior UK co-star Chris Kamara.
Viewers praised Ben as he supported his “best friend” while Chris opened up about his speech disorder apraxia.
"He was naturally very concerned because what Kammy doesn’t want is for him to feel the victim, for anyone to feel sorry for him,” Ben explained.
"He is a national treasure. Going out with Kammy is like going out with Justin Bieber, it’s a nightmare.
"You can’t go anywhere without people stopping him for photographs or pictures, they all just want to say it, and that’s been really lovely for him to see that warmth and spirit."
